Dr Wolf Martinick
Non-executive chairman

Dr Martinick is an environmental scientist with extensive experience in the mineral resource industry. He has been involved with mineral exploration and mining projects around the world, especially in Australasia, southern, central and northern Africa, China, India, and the former Soviet Union.

Dr Martinick has extensive experience at Board level. He is a non-executive director of a number of ASX companies including Azure Minerals Ltd; Carbine Resources Limited; Sun Resources Limited; Uran Limited; and is Chairman of Ezenet Limited and Windimurra Vanadium Limited. He is also a founding director and non-executive chairman of MBS Environmental Pty Ltd, an environmental and social consultancy to the mining industry in Australasia.

He has been associated with the exploration and mining industry for over 35 years, and has particular experience in environmental, water, land access and indigenous people issues. He has conducted due diligence on mining projects globally on behalf of international financial institutions and resource industry companies for a variety of transactions, including listings on international stock exchanges, mergers and debt financing. He has in recent years been active in identifying and assessing mineral projects and prospects in central and other parts of Africa. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.

Rod Webster
Chief executive officer

Mr Webster is a graduate mining engineer from the University of Sydney. He has over 30 years of experience in the resources industry, including more than 10 years in managing director or chief executive officer positions.

From 2001 to 2005, he was a senior executive at First Quantum Minerals Ltd (FQM), a Toronto Stock Exchange and AIM-quoted company, developing and operating copper mines in Zambia, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Mauritania. Most recently, he was in charge of FQM's Mauritanian activities, and prior to that he was the CEO responsible for the development of the Kansanshi mine in Zambia -- probably the world's most significant new copper mine in recent times. In 2000-2001, he was also a non-executive director of another major Zambian copper producer, Mopani Copper Mines Ltd, in which FQM held a major interest.

Prior to his involvement with FQM, Mr Webster was a founding director and the CEO of an Australian base metals producer, Western Metals Ltd. During his six-year stewardship, Western Metals grew to become Australia's third-largest base metals producer, with annual production exceeding 260,000 tonnes of zinc, 100,000 tonnes of lead and 35,000 tonnes of copper. To achieve this growth, the company raised approximately US$600 million for the development of six new mines and a private port.

In his earlier years as a mining engineer, he held senior management positions with the global resource companies, Homestake Gold of Australia Ltd and BHP Minerals Ltd.

Mr Webster is a Fellow of both the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He has been a member of the Executive Committees of both the Australian Minerals Council and the International Zinc Association, and a non-executive director of numerous companies.

Max Herbert
Company Secretary

Mr Herbert joined Weatherly in January 2008. He has many years extensive experience at senior managerial level in the UK and overseas power industries including 10 years with National Power, a FTSE 100 company. As Company Secretary, General Counsel and Regional Director (Asia) of National Power, he played a pivotal role in the establishment of strong corporate governance, the development of corporate strategy, contract negotiation and international business.

John Bryant
Non-executive director, Chair of Nominations Committee

Mr Bryant is Chairman of KP Renewables PLC and Chairman of Gas Turbine Efficiency PLC (both quoted on AIM) and a board member of Attiki (Athens) Gas Company.

He previously served as President of Cinergy Global Resources Corp, responsible for all international business and global renewable power operations of this US-based electricity and gas utility provider. His earlier professional experience was gained with Midlands Electricity PLC as Executive Director, Generation, and with British Sugar PLC, Drexel Limited, BOC Limited and Unilever PLC.

Mr Bryant holds an MSc from Reading University and a BA from Nottingham University, and is a member of the Institute of Directors and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. Mr Bryant is chairman of the Remunerations committee and a member of the Audit committee.

Alan Stephens
Non-Executive director Chairman of Renumeration Committee

Alan Stephens joined Weatherly in July 2008. Alan is President, CEO and Director of Coro Mining Corp, a Latin American focused copper development company with an option to acquire an operating copper mine in Chile, two projects being advanced to the production stage and a pipeline of exploration properties. He is also a director of the mining consultancy, Mill House Mining Ltd.

With 32 years of experience in the mining business, Alan has previously worked as Vice President, Exploration with copper producer First Quantum Minerals and as International  Exploration Manager for Cyprus Amax Minerals. He has taken part in operations in a wide variety of geographical zones including Africa, Europe, Asia and Latin America.
