Overview

Weatherly International owns five copper mines in Namibia. These were closed following the dramatic fall in copper prices in the summer of 2008. Weatherly International has a number of development opportunities in Namibia and Burkina Faso. It is also expanding its smelter which is strategically located at Tsumeb to double its capacity. As well as seeking more development opportunities it will continue to develop its custom smelting business.

  • Weatherly owns five copper mine in Namibia. Following the dramatic fall in the price of copper in the summer of 2008 production was stopped and its mines were closed in December 2008.
  • Weatherly also has a zinc/lead project in Namibia.
  • Watherly has a number of development projects in Namibia and one in Burkina Faso.
